Quite literally, I’ve been following Red and Anarchist Skinheads (RASH) propaganda material in my local inner west area for some time, and by follow, I mean they are on my daily commute. Recently there has been a barrage of pasted flyers with the RASH stickers splattered in-between (so really I can only assume this is where they stem from). The materials are a demonstration against big pharma, big corporate, big spend, big almost anything and while some grab my attention more than others, and even sit somewhere within my agreeance – what gets my attention most is the variety of design in any one ‘campaign’. This one particular route has over forty different designs, mostly on A4, easy paste and thin gsm paper stock. Curious, I can’t help think if there’s a team of RASH designers that sit in the pits and spit these out in some underground print house, or if they are produced by some higher member that only the elite know.
.nice shit for everybody is a short capture of a single days stroll and a memorable keepsake before this round of pasted messages fades into a shadow of once was glue against a strip of equally faded inner west shopfronts.
